Update 3 — Tower Mastery (May 2, 2026)
Noob Tower Defense Update 3 launched on May 2, 2026, announced by Vitan developer ilana in the official NTD Discord #announcements with "Our update is in: 4 hours" at 11:37 UTC. The update went live at approximately 16:00 UTC.
The headline feature is Tower Mastery — a per-tower progression system that rewards players for specialising in specific units. The more you use a tower across runs, the more mastery it accumulates, unlocking permanent stat bonuses for that unit.

Noob Tower Defense Update Cadence
Vitan Games follows a predictable release pattern for Noob Tower Defense:
- Weekly Saturday updates — new game content, balance adjustments, and sometimes new units. Per the official Roblox game description (as of 2026-05-12), updates now ship every Saturday.
- Like-milestone codes — the Roblox description now says a new redemption code drops every 1000 likes. Older articles mention ~500-like windows, but the current Roblox description says every 1000 likes.
- Update codes — each major update ships with a new code (UPD1, UPD2, UPD3). UPD3 shipped with Update 3 (May 2). ENDLESSDELAY shipped with the May 17 delay update.
- Seasonal transitions — Season 1 ran April–May 9, 2026. Seasonal exclusive towers rotate out and new ones come in.
- Limited events — the Aftermath Event is currently active as of May 2026. Event towers (Moderator, Inverse Moderator, Mr. Monkey) are only available during their event window.
